KANGANA CHANGED CLOTHES BEHIND ROCKS FOR 'RANGOON'

National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut, who will be seen in filmmaker Vishal Bhardwajs Rangoon, says she used to change her costumes behind rocks due to lack of facilities while shooting for the periodic drama film.

During her appearance on actress Neha Dhupia's show "#NoFilterNeha", Kangana talked about some of the weird situation that she had to go through while shooting for her films. She said that while shooting for "Queen", she used to change costumes at cafes in Europe. Something similar happened while she was shooting for "Rangoon" in Arunachal Pradesh.

"That happens all the time. When you're thrown out of your comfort zone, initially its intimidating. It doesn't really matter if you're a star or not a star," Kangana said. "It just depends on the kind of project that you choose. For example, for ‘Rangoon', we were taken to these remote valleys of Arunachal Pradesh. There were literally no villages, nothing, not even rest rooms."

"I was p**ing behind rocks, changing behind rocks. My own people would just cover me. Everyone was, so was Shahid (Kapoor). There was nothing, so what do you do?" she added.

TIGER SHROFF PAYS TRIBUTE TO MJ IN 'MUNNA MICHAEL'

Tiger Shroff, who is currently shooting for director Sabbir Khans Munna Michael, has paid tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson by replicating his moves in the film. And the first look of the movie shows the actor is trying to give his best shot to emulate MJ.

Tiger is seen wearing a hat and striking a pose similar to the signature Michael Jackson pose. Three massive sets reflecting Mumbai's nightlife were created at a studio here for a special song, which will feature over 400 dancers and will be choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, read a statement. The special song, which will be incorporating moves from some of Hollywood's finest background artistes, will open the film.

"Michael Jackson is the greatest and this entire film is dedicated to him. It's a new journey and I hope he's watching," Tiger said in a statement. Director Sabbir said: "The song was recorded in Mumbai and sent to Los Angeles, where a team of American choreographers created dance videos, which our Bollywood team and Tiger have recreated here." "We're keeping all the quintessential elements of Hindi cinema -- heroism, music, dance and action -- intact while trying to raise the bar".

Tiger will be imitating some of MJ's most iconic dance moves, including the `toe-stand', `crotch grab', `moonwalk', `feet shuffle', `MJ spin', `anti-gravity lean', `sideslide', 'robot' and `jacket throwback'. Producer Viki Rajani said: "As we all know, Tiger is one of the best dancers in Bollywood and this movie will distance him for the others. He moves like magic and in 'Munna Michael', people are going to see some unbelievable moves from him. With this movie we are looking to leave a benchmark for dancing in Bollywood."

Backed by Eros International and NextGen Films, "Munna Michael", which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and newcomer Nidhhi Agerwal, will release on July 7, 2017.

In fact, his father (Indian cricketing legend Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi aka Tiger Pataudi) proposed to his mother (veteran actress Sharmila Tagore) also in Paris when she was shooting a film 'An Evening in Paris'. And we were on a holiday in Paris as well and I was just like 'Yeah, of course'," Kareena said in a statement. The actress, who is expecting her first baby with Saif, said that the first proposal happened when they were at the Ritz Hotel in Paris.

"I think it was at the bar and then I think I said no and then there was one more time, in the same trip, and then we were at the Notre Dame Church. I was just like let's not talk about it. Because I was into my career and I was like 'let me think about it' and obviously two days later I was like 'Yeah'," she added.

So, did Saif get down on one knee for the proposal? "No, that's just the image that he has, but he's far from that," Kareena said.

'PRIYANKA'S MAGAZINE COVER SHOT NOT ABOUT PRIVILEGE OR FASHION'

A T-shirt flaunted by Priyanka Chopra for a magazine cover flaunted the message of being a traveller over a refugee, immigrant or outsider -- and generated a mixed response on social media. A spokesperson of the magazine has explained that the idea was to tell the world to stop labelling people.

The magazine issued an official statement on Tuesday saying that the message was interpreted in a wrong way, and they wanted to suggest that "the beauty of a world" is in its diversity. The statement read: "At Conde Nast Traveller, we believe that the opening up of borders and the breaking down of walls can help us discover the world, and open up our minds and hearts.

"So, when we had actress Priyanka Chopra wear a T-shirt we created on the cover of our sixth anniversary issue, we had a point to make. And it's not about privilege. or fashion." The actress, who features in American TV series "Quantico", wore a white tank top that read "Refugee, Immigrant, Outsider, Traveller" with all but the last word crossed out for the cover.

The image caused a stir among social media users as soon as it surfaced online. But the magazine spokesperson says the idea was to urge people to "stand against the building of walls, literal and otherwise". "We must demand a world free of racism and bigotry and prejudice, so that we - and generations after us-- may enjoy all the abundance that travel offers, the beauty of a world that is open and rich and diverse in its people and cultures and geographies," the spokesperson added.

The statement was stresses on why Priyanka, who has worked extensively in India and will soon be making her debut in Hollywood, was an apt choice for the magazine cover. "Priyanka Chopra - a star at home and abroad, who has experienced firsthand the opportunities that travel offers -- is the perfect ambassador."
