TIGER SHROFF PAYS TRIBUTE TO MJ IN 'MUNNA MICHAEL'

Tiger Shroff, who is currently shooting for director Sabbir Khans Munna Michael, has paid tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson by replicating his moves in the film. And the first look of the movie shows the actor is trying to give his best shot to emulate MJ.

Tiger is seen wearing a hat and striking a pose similar to the signature Michael Jackson pose. Three massive sets reflecting Mumbai's nightlife were created at a studio here for a special song, which will feature over 400 dancers and will be choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, read a statement. The special song, which will be incorporating moves from some of Hollywood's finest background artistes, will open the film.

"Michael Jackson is the greatest and this entire film is dedicated to him. It's a new journey and I hope he's watching," Tiger said in a statement. Director Sabbir said: "The song was recorded in Mumbai and sent to Los Angeles, where a team of American choreographers created dance videos, which our Bollywood team and Tiger have recreated here." "We're keeping all the quintessential elements of Hindi cinema -- heroism, music, dance and action -- intact while trying to raise the bar".

Tiger will be imitating some of MJ's most iconic dance moves, including the `toe-stand', `crotch grab', `moonwalk', `feet shuffle', `MJ spin', `anti-gravity lean', `sideslide', 'robot' and `jacket throwback'. Producer Viki Rajani said: "As we all know, Tiger is one of the best dancers in Bollywood and this movie will distance him for the others. He moves like magic and in 'Munna Michael', people are going to see some unbelievable moves from him. With this movie we are looking to leave a benchmark for dancing in Bollywood."

Backed by Eros International and NextGen Films, "Munna Michael", which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and newcomer Nidhhi Agerwal, will release on July 7, 2017.

PROSECUTOR : WOMEN FELL TO HER DEATH TRYING TO FLEE TINDER DATE

A New Zealand tourist was so afraid of an Australian man she met through the dating app Tinder that she fell 14 floors to her death while trying to escape from his apartment balcony, a prosecutor told a court on Monday. Gable Tostee, 30, pleaded not guilty in the Queensland state Supreme Court in Brisbane to the murder of 26-year-old Warriena Wright in Gold Coast city in the early hours of Aug. 8, 2014, the AP reports. He faces a potential life sentence if convicted. Tostee and the Lower Hutt woman met for the first time in the tourist center of Surfers Paradise on the night she died. Prosecutor Glen Cash told the jury that Tostee did not throw Wright to her death, but intimidated and threatened her to an extent that she felt the only way to escape was to climb down from his balcony.

In this July 5, 2015, file photo, a man uses      the dating app Tinder.

The court heard an audio recording made on Tostee's phone that captured an altercation between the pair as well as the fall. Cash alleged that Tostee became angry after Wright threw ornamental rocks at him and hit him with a telescope. He also said that Tostee choked and restrained her before locking her out of his apartment on the balcony. "You're lucky I haven't chucked you off my balcony," Tostee is heard to say. "If you try to pull anything, I'll knock you out." The jury was told a neighbor heard Wright crying, "No, no, no, please let me go home," before witnessing her falling from the balcony about 15 seconds later. But defense lawyer Saul Holt said Wright had become increasingly erratic and aggressive toward Tostee after a night of drinking and intimacy.

SUNNY LEONE HAS ALL THE TALENT TO BECOME MAINSTREAM HEROINE : RAJEEV CHAUDHURI

Beiiman Love helmer Rajeev Chaudhury thinks actress Sunny Leone has enough talent to be a mainstream heroine.

"Why not Sunny Leone? I think she has all the talent to become a mainstream heroine. She has the Indian look. I watched her films like 'Jism 2' and 'Ragini MMS'. I was so convinced that she definitely deserves much better than what she is doing," he said at the music launch of the film when asked why he chose the "Jism 2" actress for the film.

"I prepared the script for Sunny. Sunny liked the script and we tried to give the film a different look. Sunny is different in this film. She is not the same Sunny what you have been seeing till now. She performed very well in all her films and in this film too. But in this film, she has done something out of the box. She has done a substantial job which is going to become a new track for her. That's what I feel," he added.

"This is Sunny's best performance till date. She has acted tremendously as good as Priyanka Chopra or Deepika Padukone. She has done justice to the role. She is fantastic. You'll watch her soon," the director said. The erotic thriller is directed and produced by Rajeev Chaudhari. It stars Sunny Leone and Rajniesh Duggall and will mark the acting debut of Sunny's husband Daniel Weber.

ARJUN KAPOOR INSPIRED BY ANIL'S OFF-SCREEN PERSONA

Actor Arjun Kapoor looks up to his uncle Anil Kapoor. He says more than his on screen charisma, he is inspired by the veteran actor for the way he leads his life off the camera.

"So, more than inspiration - I've seen the journey, so for me, if I achieve whatever I do it will be out of the fact that I have learnt from watching him for a long period of time and it's more the off camera stuff that is more inspirational. On camera, of course, what he's done is amazing," Arjun said in a statement. The son of producer Boney Kapoor made his debut with "Ishaqzaade" in 2012, and went on to do films like "Gunday", "2 States", "Tevar", and "Ki & Ka".

Arjun says that growing up around Anil was a "very big paradox". "You know, subconsciously, I have grown up around having him next to me while I have watched him on screen. It is a very big paradox to live in, where I'm eating rajma chawal and looking at him and then I am watching the big screen," he said. The actor opened about his equation with actor-producer Anil during an episode of "Vogue BFFs". The episode will air on Saturday on Colors Infinity.

2 WOMEN CLAIM DONALD TRUMP FORCED HIMSELF ON THEM

Two women who say Donald Trump groped and kissed them without their permission have gone public after watching him deny such actions during last Sunday's presidential debate. "I wanted to punch the screen," 74-year-old Jessica Leeds tells the New York Times, which broke the story. She says she was sitting next to Trump, who she had never met, in the first-class cabin of an airplane in the 1980s when he moved the armrest and started groping her, touching her breasts and trying to get under her skirt. Leeds says she moved to the back of the plane to escape what she describes as "assault." She told friends and family about the incident but didn't report it to flight staff or authorities because back then "we were taught it was our fault."

In 2005, Rachel Crooks was a 22-year-old secretary at a real estate investment and development company inside Trump Tower. One day, she bumped into Trump outside an elevator and introduced herself. Crooks says Trump refused to release her after they shook hands and started kissing her cheeks. Then, she says, he kissed her on the mouth. She says she felt like he violated her. She immediately told her sister and boyfriend, but she felt like she couldn't go any further. "I remember her saying, 'I can't do anything to this guy, because he's Donald Trump,'" her boyfriend at the time recalls. Speaking to the Times, Trump denied the claims, threatened to sue the paper, and called the reporter a "disgusting human being."

HAVE YOU SPOTTED 'A113' IN MOVIES? HERE'S WHY

If you're an astute viewer of shows and movies like The Simpsons, The Hunger Games, or anything Pixar has put out, you may have noticed a common theme: the sequence "A113" inserted on license plates, signs, products, and other places. "But what does it mean," AV Club wonders. "Is it a code? An incantation? Is it the key to unlocking the killing potential of a thousand unknowing super soldiers embedded throughout the country?" None of the above. According to Vulture, A113 is the number of a classroom at the California Institute of the Arts, "where a bunch of big-name animators started their careers," including John Lasseter, Tim Burton, and Brad Bird.

"A113" appears on this license plate                    in a Pixar film. (YouTube)

As Business Insider notes, "by including the number they are giving a subtle shout-out to their alma mater." Lasseter, chief creative officer at Pixar, confirmed the CalArts origin in a 2009 video, adding, "A lot of the students during my time that went to CalArts, as they created films, short films, and feature films, they've kind of hidden A113 in the movies. It's one of those little things you have to look for." Pixar is known for inserting those types of things, called Easter eggs, in its films. Some other Pixar Easter eggs, according to Mental Floss, include the yellow Pizza Planet delivery truck, the Luxo ball, and characters from Pixar films appearing in other Pixar movies. (Disney's Finding Dory could be bad news for the blue tang fish.)

KAREENA HAD REJECTED SAIF'S FIRST PROPOSAL

They are known as Bollywoods royal couple, but actress Kareena Kapoor Khan says she rejected Saif Ali Khans proposal initially due to her career.

Kareena and Saif tied the knot in 2012 after a five-year relationship. The actress opened up about her personal life when she became part of TV show "Vogue BFFs". When the show's host Kamal Sidhu asked Kareena how Saif proposed to her, she said that he proposed twice because she turned him down the first time.

"He actually proposed to me a couple of months after we met only in Paris. In fact, his father (Indian cricketing legend Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi aka Tiger Pataudi) proposed to his mother (veteran actress Sharmila Tagore) also in Paris when she was shooting a film 'An Evening in Paris'. And we were on a holiday in Paris as well and I was just like 'Yeah, of course'," Kareena said in a statement. The actress, who is expecting her first baby with Saif, said that the first proposal happened when they were at the Ritz Hotel in Paris.

"I think it was at the bar and then I think I said no and then there was one more time, in the same trip, and then we were at the Notre Dame Church. I was just like let's not talk about it. Because I was into my career and I was like 'let me think about it' and obviously two days later I was like 'Yeah'," she added.

So, did Saif get down on one knee for the proposal? "No, that's just the image that he has, but he's far from that," Kareena said.

NOT PLAYING PAKISTANI JOURNALIST IN 'NOOR' : SONAKSHI SINHA

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha says she will not be playing a Pakistani journalist in the film Noor, which is based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiazs novel Karachi, Youre Killing Me.

At the trailer launch of her upcoming film "Force 2", the actress was asked about her role in "Noor". She said: "All I can say is that I am not playing a Pakistani journalist in the film. The film is based on a book, which is written by a Pakistani author. The story has been adapted into a Mumbai backdrop." The book is a bittersweet tale of a single young woman, Noor, who is attached to her profession as a journalist-writer. Directed by debutant Sunhil Sippy, the movie revolves around Noor's misadventures and love life as she navigates her way through Mumbai.

The movie, also starring Purab Kohli, Shibani Dandekar and Kanan Gill, is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 7 next year. Besides that, Sonakshi is continuing her "action queen" avatar in her next film "Force 2" after "Akira". Asked if she can be tagged as action queen, Sonakshi said: "You must. I am very fond of action films, which is why even in the past, I've been part of a lot of action movies. I enjoy watching this genre. Every time I watched my heroes doing action, I thought of doing this cool stuff.

"I got a chance in 'Akira'. I couldn't be more thankful that it has been carried forward to 'Force 2'. I will work hard to retain my tag of 'action queen'." Directed by Abhinay Deo, "Force 2" features John Abraham and is releasing on November 18.

HAUNTING EXPERIENCE ON THE SETS OF 'THE KAPIL SHARMA SHOW'

A first person account of two girls who were part of the audience on the show

So a normal episode of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is all fun and laughs, right? Wrong! "It was the worst experience of our life”, say Vishaka and Vaishali Kumar (names changed to protect identity), who were recently on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show las part of the live audience. Disappointed and disgusted, they now say that they would never wish the experience on anyone. This is how their day unfolded...

11 am: We reach Flim City and are made to wait in a place reserved for audiences. Our phones, handbags, water and other belongings are taken from us and put in a large bin.

1 pm: They finally take us in and start allotting places. It is clear that the prettier faces and the nicer looking people were being seated prominently. After being shown our seats, our wait continues.

2 pm: Kapil enters. The first thing he does is yell at the crew members. He doesn't even bother to greet the audience. A small act is filmed and we are given a lunch break.

2.30 pm: It's a 15-minute lunch break. We have to order food, whereas the VIP audience gets to indulge in a special buffet arranged by the channel.

2.45 pm: They rush us back on the set saying the show was going to start, but it is another long wait.

4 pm: The act finally starts but it so repetitive that we get bored. During a break, when some people requested a meeting with Kapil, they were refused. Only the VIP audience was allowed to meet and click pictures with him.

5 pm: Kapil auditions the crowd. Some are asked to change into the clothes provided. Then some people were selected and asked to dance. Only those who dance horribly are chosen. The good dancers are not selected to go up on the stage. Then he selects the audience (based on their personality) to ask questions to the stars. Not just that, they were even fed the questions they had to ask the actors.

8 pm: We're just sitting and waiting. By now, several senior members were complaining of pain in their legs and backs. People are not allowed to leave their seats, even though we've been waiting nine hours by now. The wait continues as Siddhu hasn't arrived. Till this point, no shooting is done. Some in the audience are bored and irritated and want to leave but the crew members refuse to let them go and get rude with them.

9 pm: The show starts. We are not even allowed to drink water, whereas the VIP audience gets to. They even leave and come whenever they want. I am shocked because a fan is a fan and everyone should be treated equally. I want to call my parents and inform them that I would be late but when I get up, a crew member yells at me and I am forced to go back and sit. Finally, I borrow a phone from a someone in the VIP enclosure and call my dad.

12 midnight: Everything is going smoothly and crew members sit in each row with the audience and make us clap, laugh and cheer at various points.

1 am: Finally the show ends and we are allowed to leave.

I am a fan of the show but I am so disappointed with Kapil. He has no respect for his fans. The crew was rude and arrogant in their approach. My experience was such a nightmare that I will never even think of watching The Kapil Sharma Show again.

Despite having established his name in the industry, Ranveer still has to fend off rumours of his dad having paid a hefty sum to the tune of ten crores for his debut. 'PRIYANKA'S MAGAZINE COVER SHOT NOT ABOUT PRIVILEGE OR FASHION'

A T-shirt flaunted by Priyanka Chopra for a magazine cover flaunted the message of being a traveller over a refugee, immigrant or outsider -- and generated a mixed response on social media. A spokesperson of the magazine has explained that the idea was to tell the world to stop labelling people.

The magazine issued an official statement on Tuesday saying that the message was interpreted in a wrong way, and they wanted to suggest that "the beauty of a world" is in its diversity. The statement read: "At Conde Nast Traveller, we believe that the opening up of borders and the breaking down of walls can help us discover the world, and open up our minds and hearts.

"So, when we had actress Priyanka Chopra wear a T-shirt we created on the cover of our sixth anniversary issue, we had a point to make. And it's not about privilege. or fashion." The actress, who features in American TV series "Quantico", wore a white tank top that read "Refugee, Immigrant, Outsider, Traveller" with all but the last word crossed out for the cover.

The image caused a stir among social media users as soon as it surfaced online. But the magazine spokesperson says the idea was to urge people to "stand against the building of walls, literal and otherwise". "We must demand a world free of racism and bigotry and prejudice, so that we - and generations after us-- may enjoy all the abundance that travel offers, the beauty of a world that is open and rich and diverse in its people and cultures and geographies," the spokesperson added.

The statement was stresses on why Priyanka, who has worked extensively in India and will soon be making her debut in Hollywood, was an apt choice for the magazine cover. "Priyanka Chopra - a star at home and abroad, who has experienced firsthand the opportunities that travel offers -- is the perfect ambassador."

TOP 10 SUCCESSFUL BANK ROBBERIES

The heisters or the "super criminals" always come with rare talents—they are always extraordinarily disciplined, organized, and above all, discreet. While so many people play, so few manage to be pros. Unlike common street criminals who are desperate and lack self-control, these heisters know that bragging about an uber-crime will lead to jail time.

It's due to these characteristics that why people fancy these folks, and that's probably the reason why big crime heists are still a favorite Hollywood motif—be it the "Italian Job" or "Ocean's 11". Well, you will admire the ballsy criminals more after you read about some of world's most successful bank robberies.

Top 10 Successful Bank Robberies

1. British Bank of the Middle East: The “Brute” Force

You just cannot ignore this bank heist because it continued for a week during Beirut's Civil War. On Jan. 20, 1976, a group associated with the Palestine Liberation Organization used special force and stole $210 million from the British Bank of the Middle East. The gang broke the wall, which the bank shared with a church and used the help of Corsican locksmiths to access safety deposit boxes.

2. Brink’s MAT Warehouse: The “Fiery” Robbery

You can keep the Brink's MAT robbery in the list of the most notorious yet successful bank robberies of all time. It occurred on November 26, 1983 when six men broke into the company's bank facility at Heathrow Airport and took $30 million worth of diamonds, gold bullion and cash. Anthony Black was the security guard at the facility, and helped pull off this heist with other conspirators who entered the facility, disabled the guards by dousing them in gasoline and threatening to set them on fire if they wouldn't cooperate. One of the robbers, Micky McAvoy, was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment and Black was sentenced to six years only for disclosing details of security measures.

3. Knightsbridge Security Deposit Robbery: The “Italian” Work

Valerio Viccei was the mastermind behind the heist that took place on July 12, 1987 and resulted in a robbery involving $66 million, worth about $154.7 million as of today. Valerio and his associates entered the facility, pretending to be customers. They overpowered the guards and put up a closed sign before they started cleaning out the safety deposit boxes. Valerio was finally arrested and received 22 years of sentence in an Italian jail. He was killed during a police shoot-out in 2000, just a day before his release from prison.

4. Dunbar Armored Robbery: The “Inspector's” Conspiracy

The robbery occurred in 1997and was so successful because it was an inside job by regional safety inspector, Allen Pace. He made a plan with other conspirators and shared photographs of the interior of the Los Angeles car depot to make this heist possible. His men dodged the security cameras, tied up all the guards and made off with $19 million in a U-Haul truck. Allen Pace was finally caught and sentenced to 24 years in prison. Almost half the money is yet to be recovered.

5. Loomis Fargo and Company: The “Driver” Plan

The company witnessed an enormous heist in 1997 in Florida. Philip Noel Johnson, who was the armored car driver of the company, overpowered his co-workers and made off with $18 million. He stashed all the money in a storage shed in North Carolina and moved to Mexico City. He was caught at a U.S. border when crossing to Mexico and later sentenced to 25 years in jail.

6. Central Bank of Iraq: The “Family” Business

In 2003, a note signed by Saddam Hussein served as the ultimate weapon for a robbery worth $1 billion. He made his son Qusay, who got killed by the U.S. military later during the Iraq war, to withdraw the money while identifying them as “security money”. Most of the money was recovered afterwards, which was found in the walls of the palace, but hundreds of millions are yet to be found.

7. Northern Bank Robbery: The “Family” Love

You won't find a robbery with larger takes than the ones involved in this "unsolved" heist that happened in December of 2004 and resulted in the loss of 30 million pounds sterling. The gang of criminals made friends with two bank officials, held their family members hostage, and made off with millions in cash. The investigation is still in progress.

8. Banco Central in Fortaleza: The “Underground” Work

You can call this an innovative approach that resulted in one of the most successful bank robberies in the world. Took place in 2005 in Brazil, the thieves pulled it off by digging a 260-foot tunnel, equipped with wood-paneled walls and electric lights, leading from a house to Banco Central. They took $79.1 million over the weekend, so the authorities couldn't discover it until Monday, which gave these thieves a chance to run away with money. More than 40 arrests were made, including the criminal mastermind Antonio de Araujob, but only $8 million was recovered.

9. Securitas Depot Robbery: The “Cash Cage” Hostages

This is another one of the most successful bank robberies that ever happened. This was the largest cash robbery in England at that time, which took place in 2006. A gang of robbers kidnapped and threatened the family members of the bank's manager to gain access to the bank. They tied up 14 staff members and stole about $92 million. After they had their bank notes, they left all the hostages in cash cages. They were eventually caught with money recovered in full.

10. Dar El Salaam Bank Robbery: The “Guards” at Work

This modern-day heist took place in 2007 when guards at the Dar Es Salaam Bank fled with $282 million. The police believed that an official at the Interior Ministry was also involved in the robbery, but nothing confirmed that. The guards were arrested soon with most of the money.
